Import duties & local tax

Because TAMU is based in Indonesia, all international shipments arrive as imports. Import duties and local VAT are the responsibility of the buyer and are paid to your country's customs authority on arrival — not to TAMU.

Europe (EU)

~0–5% import duty + local VAT rate (varies by country). Paid at customs on arrival.

United Kingdom

~0–5% import duty + 20% UK VAT on declared value. Collected by freight agent.

United States

Duty-free under $800. Above that, standard US import tariff rates apply.

Australia

5% import duty + 10% GST on most furniture items over AUD 1,000.
